The late 1960s and early 1970s were a particularly exciting time for racing, and of course Hot Wheels were born. The eye-catching Gulf logo and color scheme began to appear on race cars, and the Datsun 510 emerged as the winner of the race circuit. Now Hot Wheels combines these two elements of the era into a collectible that could have been - but never was.
The model is purchased from a private collection. The protective acrylic case may show signs of wear, but the model has never been taken out of the case.
